Become a Bobbinwinder! We look forward to sharing exciting new ideas and great fun with old friends and new. Bobbinwinders is a Creative and Social Club open to anyone interested in quilting, sewing, or crafting. We bring you programs designed to inspire you to reach new levels of creativity.

Remember that your purchase of a machine from The Presser Foot makes you a lifetime Bobbinwinder member. If you have friends who would like to join the fun, they may join for $24 for the year or attend as a guest for $5 per meeting.

Learn to use your embroidery machine in new and exciting ways. Embroidery club projects are designed to help you learn more about fabrics, designs, and stabilizers.
Embroidery Club is open to anyone with an embroidery machine. Non-Bernina owners must be able to download the club embroidery design to their machine. We will provide the design in the correct format. Please tell us what machine you have when you register.

Join us and explore the world of Bernina Embroidery Software. Our Software Club is designed to help take you beyond the basics! and will be presenting the We have joined with national Bernina educators Bernina Software Sampler program in our Software Club meetings. This program takes you beyond software and includes an embroidery project for each topic covered in the software.

March: Lettering Workshop
Build your lettering skills and explore new techniques. Use True Type fonts to customize your projects. Lettering techniques covered will include a variety of fill effects, outlining, echo, and appliqué.
April: Appliqué Workshop
Create beautifully embellished appliqué designs. Coordinate the appliqué with matching hemstitched trims and borders to complete the project. Create appliqué from a variety of methods, and apply a coordinating quick border with Spanish hemstitching.
May: Create Hand Look Embroidery – Doodle Stitching
Create your own stitches to use in Embroidery Software and replicate the look of hand stitched embroidery.
Great way to finish any handwork embroidery UFO’s! Use cotton thread to embroider the hand look stitching on a fabric Bread Basket & Napkins, or select any of the other projects from this wonderful book.
June: Embroider a Button!
Design and produce your own custom covered buttons to use in projects, on garments, or as jewelry!

August: Mix It Up with Mixed Media
Learn to create beautiful line work to expand your design possibilities. Combine paint colors with your stitching. Turn Zentangle doodles into spectacular embroidery. Explore a variety of Mixed Media options and create a mixed media Sidekick Sling Bag or Alice Book Bag.
September: Embroider on Photographs
Use transfer Photo techniques to transfer your photos to fabric and use your software to create breathtaking
embellished “photo appliqué.” Explore collage techniques, and use Corel PhotoPaint to apply photo effects. Then appliqué and create embroidered texture on your transferred photo.
October: Embroidered Tile Technique
Create personalized embellished fabric using the pattern stitches in the software to create your own embroidered pattern tile designs. Work with placement of repeated designs and learn to import machine stitches as well as creating your own stitch patterns in the software
November: Embroider a Clock!
Embroider a custom clock! This is a great gift idea for a business, a college student, a child’s room, sports enthusiast, proud grandparent, etc. Import graphics or photos for the clock face background, then create the embroidered numbers and embellishment for the clock face.
