Get comfortable using your embroidery machine in this hands-on, 3-hour class. Learn the “ins and outs” of the embroidery process on your machine as well as choosing the right needles, threads, stabilizers and much more.  At the end of class, you’ll have a small embroidered pillow to display with pride as your first successful embroidery project!

If you have an Aurora embroidery machine, please take your EC on PC class before taking this class.

If you would like to buy a kit from us please let us know when you sign up for the class.  Please have fabric cut before coming to class.

Supply List

Your new Bernina Sewing machine with the embroidery attachment.  Be sure and bring the embroidery foot (#29, 9, or 15)

1 piece of med. weight fabric 18” x 22”-denim, woven suedes and decorator fabrics work well.

Embroidery Needle - appropriate for fabric/ thread selected

Bobbin weight thread for embroidery, such as Bottom line or OESD bobbinfill

1 piece of OESD Heavy Cut-Away stabilizer for large hoop
2 pieces of OESD PolyMesh Cut-Away stabilizer for large hoop
1 piece of OESD Tear-Away stabilizer for large hoop

If you would like to purchase these in a kit form there will be a $ 9

We will be providing:

Isacord embroidery threads

You will need 6- 3/4 inch buttons and a pillow form to complete the project. (not done in class)
