Bernina Quick Start Sewing

This simple quilted case is the perfect way to carry scissors and rotary cutters to classes. The zippered opening runs the entire length of
the bag, making it easy to get in and out. Learn the basics of your machine (threading, stitches,
needle positions, presser feet use, etc.) while creating this useful zippered bag.

If you would like to buy a kit from us please let us know when you sign up for the class. If you are bringing your own fabric and batting please have cut prior to coming to class.

Supply List

Your new Bernina Sewing Machine

2 coordinating fat quarters
• One for the body Please have cut into 2- 13 X 5 1/2 inch pieces
• One for the lining & flaps Please have cut into 2- 13 X 5 1/2 pieces and 2- 3 1/2 inch squares.
Thread for decorative stitching, quilting and construction (can be the same)
One 18” zipper
Two 1” flat buttons
1 yard of ½” wide ribbon
2 pieces of batting cut into 12 X 4 1/2 inch AND 1- 3 /12 inch square. Please have cut before class.

If you would like a kit with the above supplies the kit fee will be $10.
