The Presser Foot is excited to welcome OESD Embroidery Expert
School of Embroidery
Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, 2019
Melisa Nisius for this two day event filled with embroidery projects,
where you'll learn new skills and techniques as you embroider four
projects from start to finish! Whether you've never ever embroidered
before or you've been doing this for years, you will love these projects
and the trunk show full of inspiration.
All students will receive step by step handouts, project kits for all the projects
and a USB stick with the designs for all four projects including a towel,
a t-shirt with a minkee applique, a monogrammed trivet and an in-the-hoop
zippered pouch. You'll also get a goody bag to take home, full of over $300
in embroidery items. There will be door prizes and giveaways, and product
specials only for attendees. Lunch both days is included, and there's nothing
you need to bring—we will set up machines for you and provide
EVERYTHING you need. Come and see what all the excitement about
machine embroidery is!

Multi-hooping Embroidery Class—A Child Is Born
May 31 and June 1, 2019
Claudia Dinnell is known for her beautiful embroidery designs,
Claudia's Creations. We are excited to welcome her back to
The Presser Foot this Spring for a class that will teach you how to use
her technique for embroidering designs that are larger than the hoop.
In this class you will learn to mark your fabric panels, stitch each
section of the design and make them all line up perfectly with each
other. The designs for A Child Is Born are currently only available
if you take this class, so don't miss your opportunity to create your
own embroidered quilt that will surely become a family heirloom you
will treasure during the holidays!
You will receive a printed copy of the supply list when you register for
class which also contains the instructions for preparing for class—please
note there is some preparation of materials to be done BEFORE class.
You will also receive a printed and bound color copy of the instruction
book (over 50 pages) on the first day of class for the hooping technique
and completing the embroidery panels of the quilt at no additional charge
if you register by April 29, 2019. (If you register after April 29, 2019 you will
need to print your own copy of the instruction book.)
