Our staff teaches sewing, quilting and embroidery classes featuring a wide variety of projects for different skill levels. We've even got sewing classes for kids! These classes are open to owners of any brand of sewing or embroidery machine—all you have to know are the basic functions of your machine and how it works. For adults with little or no sewing
experience. Start your sewing journey
the right way—you'll being with a
project appropriate for your skill
level and become a confident sewist,
working on projects at your own pace.

Use our classroom machines if you
wish—kits are available for
some projects.

For kids ages 8 (or third grade)
and up. Start with a fun pillowcase
in the first session(s) and then
work at your own pace on different
projects according to skill level.
Use our classroom machines
and learn new skills with
each project.

 
Chase away the winter blues with the
Sisterhood quilt from Hoop Sisters.
This beautiful embroidery applique
quilt can be made with 5", 6", 7"
or 9" blocks to fit the hoop size for
your embroidery machine. Quilt sizes
range from wall hanging to bed sized
quilts, with optional borders.

This five session class includes the
multi-format embroidery designs (except
optional border designs which must be
purchased separately) and is for
beginner to advanced students who are
familiar with how their embroidery
machine works.

sewers with some garment sewing

Bring your machine and your
UFOs and use our space to make
some progress on your sewing and
quilting projects. We have
irons, ironing boards and cutting
mats you can share. This is a
fun way to get to know other folks
that share your passion for
sewing, quilting and embroidery too!
We have a refrigerator and microwave
you can use, and there lots of places
to eat nearby.
The Big Easy from Whistlepig Creek
Productions is magical! It
un-buttons, un-snaps and un-zips
to expand to a jumbo size for
those "There was a sale" days.
Mary Poppins would love this one
and you will too!
 

 
Learn traditional paper piecing /
foundation piecing as you make this
small wall-hanging / quilt. This
beginner level class will add a
valuable technique to your quilting
skill set. You will love the accuracy
and precision that you can achieve
with paper piecing. While you won't
complete the project in this class, you
will leave with the skills and confidence
you need to finish it at home.

This class is for intermediate level quilters
who want to learn to use the new
BERNINA #72 Ruler Foot and
Templates.

Get comfortable using these fabulous
quilting tools as you quilt your own

Once you complete your panel, you will
have the confidence and skills you need to
use your rulers to quilt all your projects.

gives you perfect seams, matching
corners, and a square bottom. Use those
